About me
Gigi McAllister is an educator with over 30 years of experience and currently serves as the K–5 library-media specialist at Village Elementary School in Gorham. She is a National Board Certified Teacher who holds a master’s degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in literacy education from USM, as well as a master’s degree in School Library Science from Plymouth State University. Gigi is a contributing writer for Choice Literacy and serves as chairperson for Nerdcamp Northern New England. She is dedicated to fostering a love of reading and creating inclusive learning environments where all students feel a sense of belonging.
